The Ferguson Opportunity

President Obama is using the Ferguson incident to further his agenda and to cover up his dismal failures as President.
obama-swearing-in-2009-bible-thumb-640xauto-7454When he called for a summit at the White House to discuss Ferguson and did not include the Ferguson police but did include Al Sharpton his lack of resolve to solve problems, real or perceived, was exposed.

If Obama wanted to find solutions he would not be singularly focused on the police. The policeman was not charged with anything based on overwhelming evidence.  A serious effort to avoid these rare but tragic incidents would involve digging into the “community” issues. Obama could have shown real leadership by condemning the lack of respect shown by Brown when asked to get out of the street and condemning all citizens, black or white, for resisting arrest. Furthermore he should have condemned the violence in Ferguson. If Michael Brown complied with a simple request he would still be alive and probably robbing stores again.

The bigger picture of the black community is the desperation of lack of job opportunities, the failed education system, high abortion rate and the decay of the black family unit. Black unemployment peaked at over 17% and is about 11% for adults and 21% for 16-to-19-year-old teenagers, the highest jobless rate of any minority group in the U.S. This is understated due to the large number of people that are not counted because they dropped out of the hunt for a job.

President Obama has the sworn duty to protect the Constitution and uphold the laws of our country. Eric Holder ERIC HOLDER-AP PHOTO-CROPPEDhas the same responsibilities. Both have chosen to disregard those duties and have joined the race industry opportunists like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, et al.  The big losers are the black community but sadly they will continue to vote in their slave masters.

We did not know how bad He was!

Obama’s administration has added 11,327 pages to the Code of Federal Regulations over the past three years. The President is also responsible for over $5.4 trillion in new debt in his first term. Obamacare has eighteen pagesto define a full-time employee. That should tell you all you need to know about Obamacare. The unemployment rate has remained above 8% for most of Obama’s term. The real unemployment rate, one that quits counting the long-term unemployed as if they don’t really want a job)  is 14.7%. These things are all related. Obama’s policies are exactly opposite of what we need to create jobs and spark the economy. The tons of regulations are big disincentives for job creation.

Randy Johnson, senior vice president of labor, immigration and employee benefits at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in a Labor Day briefing, distributed a handout of a Congressional Research Service analysis of a 2008 study commissioned by the Small Business Administration that estimated the annual compliance price for all federal regulations at $1.7 trillion that year. That was before Obama dumped over 11,000 new pages of regulation on our economy.

Obama cannot run on his record so he continues to use the tired line that “we did not know how bad the economy was”. This contradicts his entire 2008 Presidential campaign where he said our economy was the worse since the Great Depression. We expect this from a man who even lied in his autobiography. Bill Clinton, also not a man known for his honesty, parroted this ridiculous claim at the Democrat convention when he said that no President, not even (the great) Bill Clinton, could have fixed the economy in a mere four years.

The reason our economy is in the tank, our credit has been downgraded, our debt has skyrocketed and unemployment is at 14.7% is because of Obama’s policies, period. The good news is that the fix is not all that complicated. Romney’s five point plan is right on target. His plan is:

  1. By 2020, North America will be energy independent by taking invented of our oil, are coal, our gas, our nuclear, and renewables.
  2. We will give our fellow citizens the skills they need for the jobs of today and the careers of tomorrow. When it comes to the school your child will attend, every parent should have a choice, and every child should have a chance.
  3. We will make trade work for America by forging new trade agreements, and when nations cheat in trade, there will be unmistakable consequences.
  4. To assure every entrepreneur and every job creator that their investments in America will not vanish, as have those in Greece. We will cut the deficit and put America on track to a balanced budget.
  5. We will champion small businesses, America’s engine of job growth. That means reducing taxes on business, not raising them. It means simplifying and modernizing the regulations that hurt small businesses the most and it means we must rein in skyrocketing cost of health care by repealing and replacing Obamacare.

With a President Romney, if the GOP holds the House and can get to 51 seats in the Senate (60 would be much better) then America has a chance.

economy, jobs.debt, main stream media, Obama, Obamacare, unemployment

The line that “we didn’t know how bad things were” is getting quite tiresome. When Obama was campaigning to be President he stated over and over again that things were very bad, almost as bad as the Great Depression. After being elected he stated that if he can’t turn things around he will be a one term President.

With all of the data compiled these days if you are running for President and didn’t know how bad things were then you are grossly incompetent and don’t deserve to be President. This is just another big lie to avoid taking responsibility for your policies. And of course the main stream media is glad to carry his water. The reality is when you turn up the heat on regulations, stop and even revoke drilling permits, block a pipeline project that would help us become more energy independent, pass a sweeping new entitlement program that no one wanted, not pass a budget in over 3 years, run up over $5 trillion in new debt with nothing to show for it and refuse to address the debt and deficit problems then it should be no surprise that we have over 16% real unemployment, job growth is non-existent and businesses are sitting on cash because of the adversarial atmosphere towards business and growth.

Let’s put some big boys in the White House and turn the Obama express train wreck around.

Obama’s Pitiful Record on Jobs

Obama and his cronies will be hyping the fact that 163,000 jobs were added in July, 2012.  What he won’t say is that the unemployment rate was 8.3%. It has been above 8% for 41 straight weeks, a number that he said we would stay under thanks to his stimulus package. He also won’t say that this job growth is not even keeping up with population growth, let alone restoring all of the lost jobs in our country.

We are still down 1.1 million jobs since Obama took office and down 4.1 million from the peak employment under Bush. See below for the history of employment.

Slavemaster Obama

In addition, the number of Americans on food stamps is now 45 million, up 70% from just 4 years ago. That is 1 out of every 7 Americans, shameful. We are spending $72 billion this year as compared to $30 billion 4 years ago. Obama’s goal is to make as many Americans dependent on the government (slavemaster) as possible. He is succeeding.
