inIf you’ve got a business, you did not build that–somebody else made that happen.
President Barrack Obama, July 15, 2012
Yes that is a quote from the President of the United States. Essentially he is saying that individuals cannot create a business or invent something or innovate without the massive helping hand of the government. Make no mistake, this is not naivety. The warning signs about Obama’s big government ways were everywhere for one to see if they wanted to before his coronation. He is following his disciple Saul Alinsky’s playbook to the letter. Our great country’s rich with examples of innovations that happened without the helping hand of the government:
The list goes on and on. And ironically todays innovations are made despite the government. Government has put many burdensome regulations creating hurdles for small and big businesses alike.
This quote is very telling. While Obama continues to blame President Bush for our economy, it is his administration’s attack on businesses coupled with his unbridled spending that is wrecking our economy. Government does not create jobs. The best that it can do is stay out of the way. Everyday entrepreneurs create new businesses to meet a demand. They do this because they see an unmet need or have a better idea. Small businesses are the life of our economy. They pay 44% of the total U.S. private payroll. They have generated 65% of net new jobs over the past 17 years.
Obama is waging a war on business. This is a war on individuals and innovation. He said that he will “fundamentally change America”. He is doing his best to do this. He wants to fundamentally change us to a fascist government where private industry exists but under the control of government (this way if businesses fail government is not blamed). Individuals cease to exist. The masses are dependent on government for all of their basic needs. His healthcare legislation was the big missing piece to this puzzle. The large increase in food stamps and disability claims along with virtually lifetime unemployment benefits under Obama are creating the dependency needed for his transformation.
Hope & Change. Be careful what you ask for.
